I first met Mr Tuffaha when he gave me my breast cancer diagnosis, at an incredibly difficult time he was the person that made sense. He was kind but honest and reassured me from the very first instance. My cancer was large so he had to do considerable reconstruction both sides as well as remove the cancer. I am delighted with what he has done, I will be forever grateful and cannot recommend him enough. I have told him regularly I love him! He is incredibly skilled, but also true to his word. I was a mastopexy with implants patient of Dr Tuffaha in October 2019 and I highly recommend him for this type of operation.

I met with Dr Tuffaha several times prior to my operation and this was never a problem for him, he was always very accommodating with his time and keen for us to have as much communication as possible prior to the surgery in order for him to gain a clear idea of the kind of results I wanted and to ensure that my expectations were reasonably managed in keeping with safety, best practice and longevity of results. Dr Tuffaha provided me with a substantial document on breast surgery written by himself to ensure that I had all information available to me before making my final decision.

During my stay in hospital, Dr Tuffaha visited me before the surgery and a couple of times afterwards, he is always warm and friendly and keen for me as a patient to be happy with the results of the procedure. I should also mention that the nurses and other hospital staff at Nuffield provided an excellent standard of care at all times.

I am extremely happy with my results and highly recommend both Dr Tuffaha and Nuffield hospital in Ipswich.

Every day I say a big thank you to you for what you have done as it has changed my life in all ways, socially, physically and mentally.

I can now go out on a hot day without hiding away under baggy clothes, can wear clothes in my correct size that I can now button up, I am now totally pain free and I no longer get the rude derogatory remarks I had to contend with previously.

Recently there was a programme on the television of a lady in America having her breast reduction under a top plastic surgeon and all I can say is, her ‘after’ photos were nowhere near as good as my results, as you will see when you get my ‘after’ photos next month, 6 months down the line. I opted to have a preventative double mastectomy with reconstruction due to being a BRCA1 gene carrier. Mr Tuffaha was amazing from start to finish.

Mr Tuffaha was amazing from start to finish. He was clear on the process, understanding and extremely professional. Any concerns I had Mr Tuffaha addressed them and I felt prepared and ready for the surgery. After the surgery my follow ups have been consistent and fantastic and Mr Tuffaha has shown a great care for what he does. My results are more than I could have hoped for and I now have the best looking boobs ever. I was skeptical about what I would look like after but the result is an amazing improvement on what I looked like before. I literally cannot thank Mr Tuffaha enough for his hard work and dedication!

When I first met him I felt unsure and quite vulnerable due to other surgery I had and was not sure that I would be understood and be able to explain why I needed his help. From my initial consultations, and throughout my post op care, Mr Tuffaha has been fantastic. He took time to explain everything including some technical aspects of the surgery including decisions & outcomes, which makes me feel Mr Tuffaha was 100% committed to getting the best result and really cared about me as an individual. Mr Tuffaha was totally reassuring when I panicked at 2/3 weeks they were still too big, and he was right when he said the swelling would go down and I'd be happier in a few more weeks. From the outset Mr Tuffaha did well to manage my expectations (sisters not twins!) but to be honest I couldn't be happier with the size and shape and they look like twins to me. The recommendation he made for the post surgery compression bra was also excellent (Reco) as it is very comfortable.

The theatre staff were excellent, I felt very safe in their care, the anaesthetist and her assistant made me feel at ease as did recovery staff after the operation. It’s a big thing to willingly hand yourself over to the care of others but I felt very confident in doing so given their professionalism and friendliness. Ward staff were wonderful, I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for me. Would definitely recommend

Firstly can I just say how amazing Dr Tuffaha is. I am 23 and breast reduction surgery is something I’ve been considering for a really long time. Just to give some context my breasts were a 36 HH. He was honest and told me these will be sisters not twins. He didn’t over promise. But he certainly delivered. Although we had some complications with the after care (slow healing)- dr Tuffaha was on hand every step of the way- offering me advice and reassurance. I am now 8 weeks post op & have been discharged. My boobs are amazing. The size and shape are just what I wanted & the nipples are really natural & I still have feeling in them.
